Packing Instructions: Photos

• Be sure to use a brand new box for shipping. Do not use envelopes. Do not use shoe boxes.

• Remove all photos from albums, envelopes, etc. Ensure that no staples, paper clips, rubber bands, post-it-notes, etc. are attached.

• Photos must be at least 3”x3” and no larger than 8”x10”.

• Please group all of your photos in bundles by size. Your entire order must be bundled this way. (We recommend grouping your photos by sets of 100 with rubber bands).

• Photos cannot be thicker than a modern Polaroid picture. Anything thicker will jam our scanning machines.

• Please do not include any photos with glue or sticky materials on them, this will worsen the quality of your scan and interrupt our scanning process.

• Make sure every photo is right-side up and facing up. Whichever way your photo is facing in your packaging is the way it will be scanned at our facilities.

• All photos must be lying horizontally, regardless of vertical or horizontal orientation.

• Ensure that your box is stuffed well. If you have extra room in the box, use packing bubbles or paper to fill the space. (Do not use packing popcorn, it breaks apart and clings to photographs which reduces the quality of your scans).

• Contents must fit properly within the shipping box. The box must be securely closed and not be reshaped or bent.

If these guidelines are not followed, the unprocessed order will be returned to you at a handling fee of $25 and a return postage charge.
